For the second combination, he again starts by attacking the Kouchi Gari, and when his opponent steps back, he finishes the Sode Tsuri.

Once again working from the cross sleeve grip on an opposite sided opponent, Jimmy now hits the Sumi Gaeshi takedown. After getting cross sleeve grip control, Jimmy pushes into his opponent and steps his first foot inside as if he were going for an Uchi Mata. He then jumps as deep under his opponent as possible, planting his second foot and kicking up with his first foot. He finishes the takedown by rolling to the top position.

Continuing his cross sleeve grip series, Jimmy sets up the same cross sleeve grip as before, against an opposite sided opponent. Now instead of going for the Kouchi Gari he changes his footwork and goes for the Uchi Mata.

Jimmy begins his cross sleeve grip series against an opponent who fights from the opposite side. His first step is to control the attacking hand, pull it across his body and reach over his opponent’s back and grab his gi at his lat, establishing his cross sleeve grip control. Now he pulls his opponent forward, making him step, and trips the foot with the Kouchi Gari.
